I don't like the idea of have a school uniform at all. Some people might like it but I don't want to compared or be the same as anyone. Everyone's different why not let people express that. But I have been told my someone that when their school had uniforms, the girl's skirt got shorter and shorter sometimes but how is that any better then wearing short shorts in the summer? I think people should be able to express theirselves with what they wear which by what they wear might say something bout them. If they have a uniform for school do they have to stay in that uniform for like P.E. or do we have a different uniform or can we wear regular cloths?

I think young children need homework to learn how to spell words and add and subtract but once that got the basics down I think they should do their work in class so you don't have to take it home because a lot of students stay up really late just to get it done or they ask to cheat off someone else's because they didn't get it done. But I do remember Mr. Blum's class and he gave us homework but we always got it done in class which was nice so than if you had to go and do something after school or go to work but homework was holding you back. Even though you can't skip work but then you don't have your homework done it's just harder to get done when you get older I think.

I like what your saying Austin but what if we have more education doesn't mean people won't do it. But I do agree with you on when you see people do it while in the car you will prob do the same thing when you drive. With the phone holding low okay people do it but couldn't it be obvious to some cops by hurrying and lowering your hand, or the light if they don't shut their phone.

I think tougher laws would help with some of the distractions around drivers. Like texting you don't need your phone out while driving but they are nice to have in case of you wreck or something. Sending or receiving a text can take a driver's eyes off the road for 4.6 seconds, in the same amount of time it takes to travel a football field at 55 mph. Anything can happen when your not looking cross the yellow or white lines or someone else can while they aren't paying attention either. But while I read this it's crazy bout how many people call on the phone and text while driving.

"It is one of those terms that can cover such a wide range of behavior and words so pervasive in all our schools, playgrounds, and social settings kids are exposed to. Even in adulthood, work and social bullies still make their mark, extending the torments of childhood and adolescence for many adults.when they cross from simple teasing or schoolyard taunts to criminal harassment, can challenge law enforcement and the courts and, if not handled with discretion, the legal remedies for them may actually bring more harm to their victims than the original bullying. " the article says and I agree to this because there school programs about bullying that don't work. I think bullying will happen no matter what. But I'm possible wrong. The article I was reading had a girl who was tormented by people at school and she killed herself because of it by jumping off a silo. But I think if something gets that bad something should be done. But don't ignore if you see it because it's not funny to ruin other people self confidence.

Not just in schools like book stores and that. That's all I'm saying they might go and buy one if they can't read it at school.

Parents and teachers could keep books that are unrated for children. But if you know what it is and it interest you and you know what they are talking bout I don't really think theirs a problem.

I agree with you Haley about when you read a book it does describe you as a person by what you read. The swearing thing ya and I know some way younger kids that swear a lot too.

Well I think they won't have sexual content in any elementary schools I think it would be more high schools getting them then younger so than you know what it is by having the sex ed. But people writing the books don't mean to offend anyone either tho.

2 points

I think students should be able to read any book they choose they know what they are reading and if you don't let them read it in school they will be reading it somewhere else or if they do get the book at home they might bring it to school. People donate books what if they book wasn't okay for people to read what would they do just say, oh I can't take this book because it's banned. Donating is donating and I don't think we should ban any books.
