I completely agree with you. Even though speakers, parents and counselors talk to us about bullying, we have no way of completely getting rid of it. The moment we stepped out of the gym we immediately start to forget what we learned and we even sometimes think that we're not bullying other people at all. It's sad to say that suicide caused by bullying is the third largest cause of death to young people. According to http://www.bullyingstatistics.org/ over 14% of high school students has considered suicide and almost 7% attempted it. And this is caused by mean words and jokes thrown at them. And sometimes not even just words but also by physical means. Bully also doesn't just stop when they get "lectured" in reality, they even get worse because high school students are immature and we think we can get away with everything.

Like I said in other people's comment. Uniforms does cost less in the long run and I know this based on personal experience. You shop less because you don't need that much clothes and if you think about it. A uniform that you can wear for four years cost less than a trip to buckle. plus, you can even get cheaper uniforms from students that already graduated. And like I said, even if your wearing the same thing as the person next to you, it doesn't mean that you can be you own individual self and that you are like everyone else. It just means that your equal to everyone else because it limits the stereotype that happens around school that there basically is no "popular" kids and "losers".

I agree that we need to learn how to handle stress but we also don't need that much stress put on to us in early age. And even if we don't have homework we will know how to handle it. We are faced with stress in our daily life, not just on homework. We also learn how to manage time by learning to do other things. I'm not saying don't study and learn the subject. I'm saying that by putting more and more homework, it stresses students that will lead them to not doing their homework, getting bad grades and giving up on school. Which is definitely what we don't need in the future.

Wearing uniform doesn't mean having the stereotype of just wearing skirts and dresses for girls. They have the option of wearing shorts and pants too. In the long run, uniforms can be very cheap as opposed to wearing normal clothes. Especially for families with multiple kids. Students that has graduated donate back their uniforms to the school or pass it down to their younger siblings. As for improving the behavior, Kids will soon realize that uniforms are easier to handle with in the morning with not having to wake up early to find clothes and match outfits. It also reduces the load of laundry for teenagers.

Hi Bro!

As what you've done to Heather, I feel the obligation to dispute some of the things that you've said.

First of all, young men and women will "crave" each other with uniforms or not. That's just how life is. But what Heather's saying is, with the uniforms being long and proper enough (with no unnecessary skin showing), and students not abusing their right for having dress codes, it would help with the so called "craving". In addition, it also return back to what she said about how it improve students behavior and morals. Obviously, if students in general, would learn how to behave themselves, and listen to teachers about protection during class, then there would be less teen pregnancies.

According to www.nola.com school uniforms does save money for clothes. In general, we go to school 5 days a week for 4 years during high school. Theoretically speaking, during all those four years, students wear the same uniform, and some even passed them down to younger siblings in the family. A week worth of regular clothing is definitely higher money during that specific period. But looking ahead, it's definitely cheaper and more affordable. Having my own experience with school uniforms, I would definitely say that it's not as bad as what others portray it to be. You put less effort to As for individuality, you can still use your own fashion style by putting on accessories with the school uniform and express yourself to others with your own personality. It will help other people this way to not judge others based on just their looks and stereotypes.

Homework is one of the great causes that students dislikes school. Every year, the expectations with home works keep growing that motivates the students to rebel and fail to do the work. As homework keeps growing and growing each year, the amount of time spent doing it for us students kept getting larger and larger. Students has a lot of extracurricular activities spent after school such as sports, plays and work. By putting more and more school work load. Students began reducing effort in school work and even not do it at all. Due to this, educators result in making a punishment such as giving more harder homework. That will then again result to less motivation of students given to their school work. Students are expected to learn and work at a specific amount of time and at home students are expected to do their work until it's done. But the difference is at school, principals and teachers can control the situation and help the students that has troubles in class, this is not the case at home. Educators only see the product of what we do at home. Everyday, we are faced with situations that they cannot control. Many people think that homework creates good time management and good work habits when in fact its causes stress and leads students to dislike school.
