I think there should be stricter laws on texting and driving. The most common people who text and drive are teenagers. According to the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute, “The study reports that teen drivers are four times more likely than adults to get into car crashes or near-crash events directly related to talking on a cellphone or texting. For every six seconds of drive time, a driver sending or receiving a text message spends 4.6 of those seconds with their eyes off the road.” Teenagers think that nothing will happen, but in a blink of an eye you could be taking someone else’s life or your own life. You would have to deal with that for the rest of your life. You can get a ticket for texting and driving but often teens don’t think that officers can tell. I don’t think some teenagers or other people realize how texting can affect your life.

I think that schools should all be required to have school uniforms. The study in the article By all Accounts, School Uniforms Improve Learning Environment, author Sharon Prill states that students that dress appropriately for school are better able to dress for office jobs and other business jobs after high school. Wearing school uniforms helps prepare students for the workforce and to feel what it’s like to be professional. The students in schools that require uniforms focus more in school and aren’t judged by their looks. You can still be yourself and express your personality when wearing school uniforms. Kids wouldn’t be made fun of for their clothing choices or for wearing the wrong “brand” if we all just wore the same clothes. Uniforms help present a more consistent and polished look and it would make schools look better.

I personally think that students need the right to choose because even if they do read a book with any situation that's their choice. You should know what you're going to read and if you don't like the book then maybe not read it. Students should always have a choice on what they want to read but for example if it's a book for a class you have to read it.
